Fingerprints

I entered a photo to The Paper Mamas Photo challenge Fingerprints. The Paper Mama There are some really cool pictures up so far!!! Take a look and maybe submit one yourself. This phot is of Monk, and I took it myself using our Nikon D40.

Getting Closer to 1 year old....

OMG I am freaking out....my little baby is going to be one year old soon, I am not ready for it, I am just not ready. He is crawling really well, and cruising along the furniture. He walks well holding on to our hands. I just cannot believe how the time has flown. I know, I know it just goes faster too. It is fun watching his little mind at work (play). He is learning new things every day, and when he wants to know how to do something he watches and watches others do it until he is ready to give it a go. Monk's favorite pasttime is ripping apart magazines that I have yet to read...RIP last months Cosmo...and playing with little plastic dixie cups (read: jello shot cups...thanks cousins). I have had some opportunity to take some pictures of him, but havent had the chance to get them off the card, but soon, new pictures will be coming. There is also a video of Monk on Youtube. A few months ago I started singing Old McDonald to him and one day he started repeating the E I E I O part....so thankfully the next time he was doing it I grabbed the vido and shot a video.....

Ok so I cant do this right.

Life is hectic and my dear dear husband dropped our camera....so I have no pictures for my blog. Oh well, I guess I will just have to periodically try to drop a line or two on here...not that anyone is probaby reading this, but I digress.

Joshua is growing so fast, he is crawling and moving like crazy, pulling up on anything and everything he can find. He even cruised a little bit when we were visiting my mom this weekend. She was soo excited to see him creeping along holding on to the table and couch. Lately all he wants me to do is sing Old MacDonald. He loves to E-I with me when it comes to that part, and he will do it unless something shiny catches his eye.

I have been battling my PPD, I was just getting too much of the seasonal affective I think and it was making me feel down. I am working on keeping a positive outlook and being vigilant about keeping my body and mind feeling fresh.
